So, this is a little different! I figured instead of me just writing “love advice” that everyone has probably heard too often… that I would ask Tom instead! It’s always interesting to get things from a guy’s point of view, because quite frankly they just see things differently than we do! I’ll start off by asking Tom some questions that my own friends have asked him before… and if you have any questions you’d like to ask regarding your own situations, please message me and I’ll get an answer for you! Well, here we go… the first official Ask Tom!… View Post

Well, this was Tom and I’s third Valentines day together and we weren’t quite sure how to spend it! Ideally, we would’ve really loved to travel, but with Tom and I both having to work the next day, that seemed a bit unrealistic. So, pretty much meant we were staying in San Diego! I didn’t want to just go out to dinner or go out to a movie with the million other couples going out that day, so I set Tom a $100 budget and said good luck! After work, we dropped off some chocolates and a card for my… View Post

After an absolutely exhausting process… I said yes to the dress! I suppose I went about the whole process a little differently than most brides… I actually only went shopping with my mom. I personally can’t handle too many different opinions at once, especially when I wasn’t even really sure what I wanted! Without giving too much away, I could not have ended up with something more different than I thought I’d end up with! Obviously, everyone has a different body type.… View Post

So I was talking to my friend about this yesterday, and figured it’d be a good thing to write about! The number of couples who call it quits around the one-year mark is staggering. As it turns out, there are legit statistics that help to shed some light on this.  A report by the Washington Post states that around 70% of straight unmarried couples break up within the first year. Holy smokes, that’s high. How can we make sure we don’t become part of that statistic? Well, here’s my thoughts… Don’t just “give up” if things get rocky…communicate! After a… View Post

After the most ridiculous flight delay of my life, 2 iced coffees, and a security guard yelling at me… I finally made it!! Why Tucson? Well, there’s a huge gemstone trade show held in Tucson at this time every year where stone sources from all over the world come to talk to jewelers about all of their new “mine finds”. This is obviously huge for me, because gemstones are a huge part of our business! The reason I’m going however, yes is to hear about their new discoveries, but is mostly to discuss with each source the details of their… View Post
